Gordon Fields, Sr.
Bishop Gordon Fields, Sr. serves as the presiding bishop of Victory Fellowship Outreach Ministries. At the age of 20, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and became a member of the House of God, Inc., where he was baptized and received the gift of the Holy Ghost under the late Pastor, Mother Ida Belle Sessoms-Howard. He served his local church faithfully as a custodian, missionary, trustee, deacon, sabbath school teacher, and superintendent of sabbath school on the local and state levels.
He first answered the call to ministry in 1994. Serving as a deacon, minister, and later an elder, he was appointed Assistant Pastor of House of God, Temple #2 in Norristown, Pennsylvania under the leadership of Apostle Larry T. Owens.
Bishop Fields later went on to serve under the late Pastor Carrie James. There he was the Sabbath School Superintendent, teaching and preaching the Word of God. During his time there he performed wedding ceremonies, funerals, and baptized many souls. He also taught a number of seminars and preached the gospel during street revivals.
In 2005, Bishop Fields along with his wife Pastor Doretha Fields birthed Victory Fellowship Outreach Ministries in Norristown, Pennsylvania. In 2015, after prayerful consideration, they joined the Pentecostal Assembly of Jesus Only (PAJO), Inc. under the leadership of General Overseer, Presiding Bishop Sean A. Outen.
On June 26, 2021 through the laying on of hands, Bishop Gordon Fields, Sr. was consecrated to the bishopric during the Pentecostal Assembly of Jesus Only, Inc. 45th holy convocation under the leadership of Presiding Bishop Sean A. Outen and the Board of Bishops. Within the PAJO fellowship of churches, Bishop Fields oversees Christian education.
Bishop Gordon Fields, Sr. has been married to his wife Pastor Doretha Fields for over 40 years. They have four adult children, Youth Pastor Alecia, St. Shanel, Minister Gordon, and Sister Shanita Fields. They all serve the Lord faithfully and within the ministry.
